Cherry blossoms in the northwest
Sapa is known for its green terraced fields and cool climates all year round. A charming highlight now is the cherry blossoms. Just over four hours from Hanoi, on the majestic Phan Pang Mountain, a vibrant cherry blossom hill awaits those who love the nature and untouched beauty of the flowers of the rising sun land.
Nowadays, Vietnam’s highest mountain weather is very ideal for travel, cool air, clear blue sky and yellow sunlight stretching over the hillside. In the tourist area of Sun World Fang Pang Legend, over 300 cherry blossoms bloom from the clock tower to Moon Hoa Station, with pink tinged into the corners of the sky to the northwest.
A cool climate of Sampan, a good adaptation with Fan Pancherry flowers blooming full of life. Soft bunches of chalk roses were stacked on top of each other to form fresh patches. During the early summer sun, the flowers are increasingly brighter and stand out in the blue sky. This is like the miniature Japanese corners within thousands of northwests.
Fanpan’s cherry blossoms began to show off at the beginning of April, and only bloomed for about a month. Therefore, many tourists have enlisted to visit Sapan during this period and admired the vulnerable and attractive beauty of this flower. “They’re looking forward to seeing the city’s efforts to help people stay at home,” said Thu Hung, a tourist in Hanoi.
Fanpan Flower Works Dam
Not only cherry blossoms, but this is also an ideal time to praise the “Queen of the Northwest.” Of the nearly 40 species of Azaleas in Hoang Lien National Park, Fansipan converges 10 typical species, growing at high altitudes ranging from 3,000m to 3,143m. In particular, the tourist area of Sun World Fanpan Legend has built a walking route to do Quyen, helping visitors easily explore the populations and raw branches of ancient Quyen, ages 250-300, at the top of the sky.
The azarias of Fanpan begins to bloom from the beginning of spring, but some species may last until October. At the foot of the mountain, Azaleas Flower Hills bloomed and created a wonderful flower carpet that welcomes visitors. However, due to cold weather this year, the ancient Duen will bloom later than usual and is expected to be beautiful at the end of April – on the holiday of 4/4-1/5, we promise to bring spectacular views to visitors to Fang Pang.
In April this year, Fampan was bustling with the 2025 rose festival, Brilliant in the Cloud. The festival’s focus is Vietnam’s largest Rose Valley, with an area of up to 50,000m², with fascinating activities such as car marching, performing arts for ethnic artisans and sweet rose fairs.
Once you step into the festive space, visitors get lost in the countryside of roses. There, about 300,000 Permons stretch along the Munhoa mountaineering train from the town of Sampan to the Phan Pang Cable Car Station. As well as the domestic ancient rose varieties, the festival also links many “treasures” of Rose World, including the most expensive flower varieties such as Juliet, AOI, Black Baccarat, Catalina, Golden Celebration, Maurice Utrillo, Eclair, Eclair and Spirit of Freedom.
