According to forecasts of the National Hydro-Meteorological Center, the Hanoi area is and will continue to be affected by intense heat, with the highest temperature sometimes reaching 37–39 degrees Celsius, in some places exceeding 39 degrees Celsius. Prolonged high heat and strong fluctuations in humidity pose many potential risks affecting the health and activities of students, teachers, and staff in schools.
To proactively respond, the Department requires educational establishments to regularly update weather forecast information, develop heat prevention plans appropriate to actual conditions, and clearly assign responsibilities to administrators, teachers and staff in monitoring and taking care of students. High-risk groups such as preschool children, elementary school students, and students with underlying medical conditions or weak health need special attention.
Regarding teaching organization, schools are required to flexibly adjust timetables, group activities, experiential activities and physical education; Prioritize arranging necessary activities in the early morning or when the weather is cooler. Department of Education
