First, the “Memory” space recreates the beauty of Hanoi’s heritage, old town, architecture and traditional craft villages through destination models, photography exhibitions and art paintings. This space helps visitors better feel the historical and cultural depth of the Capital.
Continuing the flow of heritage, the “Technology” space brings a breakthrough view of a future Hanoi. Here, visitors can experience digital tourism through VR360 virtual reality technology, chat with smart reception robots and use AI applications.
The “Green Area” space recreates the beauty of green destinations around Hanoi such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, or the ancient features of Duong Lam ancient village are introduced in a delicate way. Trends in eco-tourism, rural tourism and sustainable outdoor sports activities will be honored, encouraging tourists to aim for green values and environmental protection in every trip.
The highlight that attracts the most tourists is definitely the “Essence” space, where the essence of Hanoi cuisine and craft villages converges such as Hanoi pho, Vong village green rice, lotus tea… Not only stopping at enjoying, visitors can also directly interact with artisans, learn how to make Thanh Tri rice rolls or Ngu Xa pho rolls… Another highlight is the “Tea talk on the porch” program at Tra Viet Space, where visitors have the opportunity to enjoy tea and listen to cultural stories. history associated with Hanoi’s destinations.
This year’s festival is also a bridge for cultural exchange between Hanoi and neighboring provinces. In the “Four Directions Link” space, the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai will bring unique characteristics, contributing to strengthening links in regional tourism development. Artistic performances such as Te Tieu shallow puppetry, Xuan Lai beak pulling or excerpts from the real-life play “The Quintessence of the North”, Bamboo flower rolling – Soc Son, gong dancing – Suoi Hai, Quan Ho singing in Bac Ninh… will create a cultural space of brilliant colors and sounds.
Besides viewing activities, this is an opportunity for travel enthusiasts to hunt for attractive promotional packages. At the “Connection” space, Hanoi Tourism Corporation along with travel businesses, tourist attractions, and accommodation establishments in the city launched thousands of deep discount vouchers, domestic and foreign tours, with competitive stimulus prices.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at 7:00 p.m. on March 13 at the main stage of Thong Nhat Park with an art program gathering many young artists. In addition, there are destination survey programs, talks and seminars on craft village and rural tourism development.
