The Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 was held in Dong An and Hanoi on September 27th, on the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Tourism Day and the establishment of Vietnam Tourism. The event featured more than 113 businesses, typical units, and representatives from local communities and businesses.
Of the 11 award categories, the title “Vietnam’s Top 10 Top 5 Star Hotels” by the National Tourism Bureau is attracting attention. These are typical accommodation, excellent service quality convergence, impressive architecture, prime location and excellent customer experience.
Sofitel’s legendary metropole hanoi

The legendary Metropole of Sofitel is one of Hanoi’s long standout hotels and has a history of over 120 years. Working with classic French architecture was preserved very undamaged and added many modern amenities. The hotel was a place to stay for many heads of state and international artists.
Another highlight is the “Path of History” tour, where visitors can visit the wartime tunnels on campus. It is also convenient to move around near Sword Lake and Opera House.
However, accommodation prices here are often higher compared to common ground, and some public areas can easily be crowded during peak seasons, which can affect your private experience.
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

Located in Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang), the resort, designed by architect Bill Bensley, impresses the layout of four stories attached to the philosophy of the “Thieen -Dia -Nhan -Hoa” philosophy. The space combines natural landscapes with many art details, combining its own beaches, villas with ocean views and spa services.
La Maison in 1888, the restaurant was awarded a star by Michelin in 2024, and is a culinary highlight. However, the terrain is quite far from the city centre, making the movement unfavourable.
Caravelle Saigon

Caravelle Saigon is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s long standout hotels, open since 1959 and is associated with many historic milestones in the city. This piece combines classical architectural elements with modern architectural elements. The most well-known meeting point is Saigon Saigon’s rooftop bar on the 10th floor, with a wide view covering the city centre at night.
The hotel also has a reflection restaurant with an international menu, a system of meeting rooms and healthcare services.
However, the hall space and public areas can be very crowded. Despite being upgraded regularly, service prices for high-end groups and facilities remain difficult to avoid traces of time compared to newly built hotels.
Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel

The hotel is located in Xuan Huong Lake, built in the ancient French style and is small with 43 rooms. Each room is designed in a classic way, bringing a sense of privacy and quietness. The space here is often chosen for romantic holidays or European wedding events.
However, the number of rooms is small, so the situation is often decreasing during peak season.
Sixth Sense Ninvan Bay

Sixth Sen Ninh Van Bay is located separately in the bay of Ninh Hoa Bay (Khan Hoa) and is accessible by boat only from the mainland. The villas are built primarily from wood and stone, open to the sea and mountains, most of which have their own pools. The resort evokes a sense of closeness to nature and offers many activities at the Mountain Spa, including yoga, kayaking, scuba diving, and wellness therapy.
The resort also highlights sustainable development factors with organic food and environmental protection programs. However, road locations can be inconvenient for travelers who want to combine the city.
Four Seasons will resort in Nam Hai

The resort is located on the beach in Hai Mai and is designed to be inspired by a Vietnamese village that combines traditional tiled roofs with modern amenities. It is one of the highlights that many tourists have mentioned.
Here, Earth’s Spa Heart develops treatments based on the quiet and balanced Zen philosophy of Titch Titch Nat Han. The location near Hoi An Heritage Site, my son and hues are also convenient for sightseeing.
However, due to the high service prices, large campuses can easily feel “separation” for travelers, like inviting.
Laguna Lang Co
- address:Cu Tieu Village, Chan May Commune -Lang Co, Hue City.
Laguna Lang Co is a large resort complex in hue that combines two brands, Banyan Tree and Angsana. The architecture here combines modern and traditional elements, with independent swimming pool systems and suites heading towards luxury guest groups.
A notable highlight is the 18-hole golf course designed by Nick Faldo, between the forest and the ocean landscape. In addition to the resort, visitors can take part in experiential activities such as tint cooking classes and visiting local fishing villages.
However, the resort is far from the center of hue and travel may take some time. Service prices for the luxury segment.
Sheraton Grand Danang Resort
- address: 35 Truong SA Street, Hoa Hai Ward, Da Nang City.
The hotel is located on Non Nuoc Beach, notable with its 250m infinity pool, considered one of the longest swimming pools in the center, and is considered a large conference centre suitable for mouse events.
The spacious rooms and restaurant system offer many culinary styles aimed at both vacation and international tourists.
However, the large space makes travel within campus inconvenient, and the pool area is busy during peak season.
Vinpearl Resort
- address: Ro Island, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh.
Located in the middle of HA Long Bay, the resort on Renh Island brings another space with a 360-degree vision to the bay landscape. The project is designed in a neoclassical European style with 384 guest rooms and artificial beaches suitable for family vacations and large event organizations.
However, travelling to the island depends on shuttle ships, which can cause inconvenience to visitors.
Ansana

Approximately 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City in Angsana
The resort features a wide range of sea sports activities, including a central swimming pool, a healthcare spa, SUP rowing and beach volleyball. The space is suitable for family and groups of friends.
However, on weekends, this place is often crowded from Ho Chi Minh City, and easily overloads in common areas. Ho Tram Beach is not so noticeable in many other waters and the cooking service is rated as good, but in reality it is not diverse.
