Ninibin sleeps at the Old Quarter night

Ninibin sleeps at the Old Quarter night

The old town is bold

Night economic activity is a direction to develop new tourism in many states and cities. However, instead of focusing on bustling shops and amusement parks, it tends to be gradually formed. It’s an evening trip related to cultural experiences. In Ninh Binh – land of the ancient capital famous for Trang An, Bai Dinh and Tam Kok… -Hoa Lu Old Quarte is such a destination.

I wasn’t born in Ninh Binh, but I have been here many times. Not only will Ninh Binh be able to travel by car, motorbike or train, but this place has a very beautiful landscape.

If Ninh Bin is a land of a grand symbol, it is not exaggerated: a winding wind between limestone mountains, a dance cave that challenges visitors with 500 stone steps, or a golden cup of ripe rice season…

With every trip to Ninh Bin, it always brings new emotions to me. But they are usually the trips of the day. This year I decided to stay longer. The reason is that after enjoying all the beautiful views of Trang An, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Tam Coc-Bich Dong, Van Long Dam and Cuc Phuong Forest, you’ll want to explore Ninh Binh at night.

Hoa Lu Old Town is located in the heart of Ninh Binh City and is not large and not original old town like Hanoi’s 36 streets, but refined. Yin and Yang tiled roofs, high red lantern poles hang along the street. Architectural details reminiscent of the Dinle era… Although visitors felt like they were in a historic studio, they had the light, life and taste of everyday life.

We went to the old town around 7pm. Under the lantern, the whole neighborhood suddenly sparkled, warm and warm. The breeze and gentle music from the small food stalls are enough to slow people’s hearts.

There is no bar here. There is no sound from the bike and no loud whilst. Hoa Lu Old Town at Night is the right “ancient” quality – quiet and nostalgic, but not boring. Each corner of the street is like having its own story.

I walked along a stone paved road and stopped by a small wooden bridge across the peninsula that led to the temple of Tan Trang in Mau Temple. On the Mau Temple and Boat Wharf, each lantern was reflected in the water to create a painting. The flow of people still traveling on the small wooden bridge is just standing in the corner, but I still can feel the pleasant silence of this place.

The head is a wonderful lantern.

Of course, visitors to Hoa Lu’s old quarter don’t just look. Here, evenings are also the time of “energizing” cultural activities. I watched the Cheo Singing Show during the Thuy Dinh stage and enjoyed folk songs that I thought had been forgotten.

If you want to wander around the “paparazzi”, you won’t be disappointed. Because every corner of your neighborhood can become a picture of your life. I took dozens of photos and probably liked it the best when I was standing near Ky Lan Mountain, Ky Lan Pagoda, behind a silver pagoda.

Differences between Ninh Bin at night

I wandered around Tamcock in the evening, but the atmosphere was quite abandoned and the restaurant was closed early. Dance and Tran Caves are barely open at night. So, we can say that the Hoa lu Old Quarter is a difference. It lives in another way – it doesn’t have to be too lively, but it needs to be refined enough to be exposed to the emotions of visitors.

This is because when you stop by Silver Pagoda or take the tower, visitors can’t stop by the beautiful architectural interiors with unique images soaked in Vietnamese Buddhism.

When I left the old town, the clock was close to 11pm. The space is thrown away, the lanterns are still bright, and the row melody is still in the wind. I felt like I had just passed through the night. Therefore, when I ask where it is worth stopping when exploring Ninh Bin at night, I do not hesitate to say: Hoa lu Old Quarte.

It’s not just a destination, but also a place to listen to old beats. It’s a new space, vibrant and full of identity.
