PhD. Jaksa Nikodijevic: “The future can be analyzed through the cultural model”

In the thematic presentation, TS. Jaksa Nikodijevic has brought the listener with a new perspective on the relationship between time awareness, trend prediction and design creation.

Scientific Conference
He asserted that “Future – although not happening – can still be analyzed through consumer cultural, brand and lifestyle models”.
Based on the theoretical framework of the trend, he classified into three levels:

  • Micro (Micro Trends)– Small, quick changes in consumer style and behavior.

  • Macro (Macro Trends)– Moves with medium -influential influence, shaping tastes for many years.

  • Large (Mega Trends)– Global trends, associated with social, technology and cultural changes.

From that platform, the speaker emphasizes the sustainability (Sustainability) is the principle throughout all contemporary creative activities. He called this “three sustainable creative pillars”:Re-use.,Recycling (Recycle)And creativity (Invent) – Three factors not only help optimize resources but also promote humanistic and responsible design thinking.

In particular, Dr. Jaksa Nikodijevic offers an interesting perspective: “mistakes” and “misunderstand” in the process of creativity is not a barrier, but a catalyst that helps to form breakthrough ideas – something that artificial intelligence can not reproduce perfectly.

Scientific Conference
According to him, “Who can predict, simulate and analyze, but cannot replace the creative instinct of people – what is formed from emotions, experiences and … mistakes.”

The presentation is illustrated by a series of actual projects, AI application retail stores and multidisciplinary design models, showing how designers can convert errors, old ideas or cultural context into new products, rich in aesthetic and strategic.
